In 2013, the merger between Norsa, Renosa and Refrescos Guararapes gave rise to Solar Coca-Cola, creating Brazil's largest Brazilian-capital manufacturer within the Coca-Cola System and an operation responsible for serving the entire Northeast region, Mato Grosso and part of the Center-West. The new company was born facing an unusual strategic challenge: transforming the union of companies with distinct histories into a single organization, capable of communicating its scale, efficiency and proximity with one of the planet's most valuable brands. For this moment of transformation, 55_Brands was responsible for brand strategy, positioning and customer relationship, while SB\Design, under creative direction of Sandro Bianco, participated in materializing this strategic thinking through the construction of the visual identity, graphic system and development of the Brand Book that would guide the entire implementation of the new brand.
Far beyond the creation of a logo, the project established the foundations of a corporate identity designed to operate across thousands of touchpoints. The system developed defined brand architecture, geometric construction, typography, iconography, visual language, institutional colors, digital and print applications, as well as principles for motion graphics, audio branding and future international expansions. The visual concept stemmed from a balanced coexistence between Solar's institutional strength and Coca-Cola's global recognition, creating a flexible, contemporary system prepared to grow alongside the operation. The Brand Book itself reinforces this vision by presenting the identity as a true "design culture", demonstrating how design should act as a strategic tool to unify people, processes and communication throughout the company.
For SB\Design, this project represents one of the most relevant experiences in building identity systems for large organizations. Working in partnership with 55_Brands, Sandro Bianco participated in transforming a branding strategy into a consistent set of rules, languages and applications capable of guiding communication for a company that, years later, would consolidate itself as the second largest manufacturer within the Coca-Cola System in Brazil and one of the world's largest Coca-Cola bottlers. More than developing graphic elements, the work demonstrates SB\Design's ability to transform strategic positioning into scalable visual systems, bringing together branding, design and business in projects of high complexity and corporate impact.
