intro: TED-x Second Edition in Brazil was held in the middle of the Amazon Forest, in November, 2010. And, since one of the most important objectives of this event is connection, a communication platform was developed by Oi in order to promote ideas exchange among the event participants and people all over the world, as well.

Consequently, the strategy was joining, on a single online environment, all tweets with hash tags #tedxamazonia and #tedxam. To identify the messages flow, the event participants\’ tweets were represented by a brown sphere and the external tweets were represented by a green sphere. 

The sphere size was proportional to the user\’s number of followers. The higher the number of followers, the bigger the sphere and the slower its fall would be.

On the top of the interface we could see the tweets\’ avatars. They moved on a line and when they reached the back, the number of followers was added, and it was represented in a graph.
